Rode the Westview to Antione to Memorial to Shepherd to W. Alabama route this morning and hit an all time record on the number of Cyclecommuters. Including myself there were 12 and none going in the same direction as me.

I see one every morning now on the west side of houston.
I commute down westview from Blalock but I go all the way to post oak then cut under 610 on 12th street, into the Timber Grove neighborhood, into the Heights on 12th until I hit Heights Blvd and then take that south to West Gray. I ride a black Rivendell Atlantis but will soon be switching to a sage green Rivendell A. Homer Hilsen, so wave if you see me. ;-)
Sirrus, I leave work and head down west dallas to shepard where I head north but go down below, across allen pkwy and memorial (to avoid going over the big bridge) and shoot back up the other side by that school where I jump on the sidewalk and make a right onto the street right before Feagan. So I'm only on shepard for a few blocks and it's usually right about 5:20-5:30.
I did that exact commute to my office once going the opposite way from montrose to gessner. Probably won't do it again...drivers suck once I'm out of the loop (I also don't have a shower in the office).

Have you ever gone northbound on Shepherd around 4 to 5pm a couple of months ago? I could've sworn I saw someone on a Riv going up that direction.

Then I think I saw you. It was a "Drive" day so I was riding the four wheeled Honda. Rivs aren't that common and it caught my attention.
